Cultural Note

The Dala horse, or Dalahst, is one of Swedens most enduring folk symbols, originating in the Dalarna region. Traditionally hand-carved and painted, the Dala horse represents strength, craftsmanship, and hospitality. The word Vlkommen reflects the Swedish value of creating a warm and inviting home. Together, these elements form a meaningful piece that honors Swedish heritage while offering a cheerful welcome to all who enter.
