Nobel Cutlery Set Matte/Polished Stainless Steel by GENSE Scandinavian Design Since 1856 & Purveyor to the Royal Court of Sweden

Originally designed by Gunnar Cyrn to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Nobel Prize, the Gense Nobel Cutlery Set has become a modern Swedish classic. Drawing inspiration from the early 19th-century silverware of King Karl XIV Johan, the design blends historical elegance with contemporary flair.

With its matte handles and polished bowls, blades, and tines, each piece offers a refined contrast that elevates both traditional and modern table settings. Still used at the annual Nobel Prize banquet in Stockholm, this set is a symbol of Swedish design excellence and ceremonial prestige.
