Dala Rooster – Up with the Chickens

When a boy with a love for birds disappears

And your heart rate begins to quicken,

Take a deep breath and set aside your fears –

Chances are good that he’s up with the chickens.

Especially if the chickens are beautiful and flecked

Or colored like handsome Dala Tupp;

But even if they’re molty, drab, and henpecked,

That’s where he’s bound to turn up!
